The Portuguese Baker

Bread baking in Portugal is just as an important part of the culture as is wine and cheese. And even though most Portuguese consume all of them on a daily basis, bread is the only one that plays an integral part to every meal. The Portuguese have a passion for bread and being a baker in Portugal is a honored profession, a profession that one performs with pride and with great care.

When Carlos Vieira came to the US in 1960's, he brought such tradition to New Jersey and initiated a business that he is really proud of to this date.
